Htapothi sti Skhara is an Entree in Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!!. It was added in the Barista Update.
Description[ | ]
Htapothi sti skhara is a dish of grilled octopus that is a staple of Greek cuisine. Traditionally, it is enjoyed alongside a glass of wine, which not only complements the flavor of the dish but also helps to calm the nerves of anyone who is squeamish about trying octopus for the first time.
Htapothi sti skhara is perhaps most widely known as the dish that the led to the downfall of the National Greek Seafood Eating Contest in 1987, when a participant ate an entire year's supply of the dish continuously over the course of three days – all for nothing more than the minimal entry fee of the contest. This temporarily crippled the grilled octopus economy, though it eventually rebounded as one of the most popular dishes worldwide as a result of the publicity.
